Midway Responds to Residential House fire

On Saturday, September 7, 2024 at 0424 hours Midway Fire Rescue was dispatched to a reported residential structure fire at 26 Windward Way. On arrival, smoke and fire was seen on the front porch extending into the house. An attack line was stretched from Engine 821 and extinguishment started. The fire burned through the roof and water pipe operations were started from Ladder 814. All occupants and a dog safely evacuated from the building and there were no reported injuries. MFR operated for 5 hours then cleared the scene.
