Midway purchases new Taylor Tin's helmet shields from Emergency Response Lighting LLC

Midway Fire Rescue has purchased matching fire helmet shields to standardize our entire fire departments 62 firefighters. This new program will allow all those working on an emergency scene to know which fire apparatus each firefighter is working during the shift. The apparatus company numbers are interchangable metal passport tags that each fire truck will have. When firefighters come on duty they snap the company passport number tag onto their helmet shield which designates what fire apparatus crew they are working on. This new helmet shield program will allow us to have a better accountability of our firefighters during emergencies!
