Blue Heron Bird - Tree Rescue in Prince George Community on 8/22/24

A resident of Prince George community requested assistance with a blue heron that was hanging upside down in a tree apparently trapped to a branch by fishing line. Ladder 831 and Ladder 814 crews quickly laddered the tree and freed the trapped bird. The Heron was then taken by a wildlife transporter to the Birds of Prey sanctuary for care.
