Midway Fire Rescue's Wildland Team Deploys to Pickens

Yesterday afternoon, Midway Fire Rescue's Wildland team was requested as part of the SC Firefighter Mobilization. SC Firefighter Mobilization have requested equipment and manpower to support the Pinnacle Mountain Wildfire in Pickens County from across the state. Pickens County is a county in the northwest part of the U.S. state of South Carolina.

Engine 841 with a crew of four certified wildland team members are set to start assisting with operations on Thursday morning with the crew returning Monday evening.
