Forever In Our Hearts

It is with a very heavy heart that we must inform everyone that Administrative Assistant Peggy Green has passed away very suddenly at home earlier this evening.

Her loyalty to Midway Fire Rescue was unquestionable. Peggy would have received her 20 year plaque at the banquet this year. For Peggy, I believe we all were never just “co-workers”. She thought of each of us as family and cared deeply about us and our families, as evidenced by her collection of pictures of our children she built over the years. She joyfully welcomed every newcomer, and she was sad every time someone left us.

Peggy held a special place in all of our hearts. She made a huge impression on each of us and will be deeply missed. Please keep her family in your thoughts and prayers.
