MFR Training Continues

Ongoing training is always a big priority here at Midway Fire Rescue. This month, the focus is on wildland safety, communications and scene size-up of emerency incidents. Each training session is both lecture and hands-on training to get the shifts out and using the equipment so all personnel is efficient in the topics covered in training.

The pictures below are from C-Shift practicing the utilization of Wildland Fire Shelters to protect firefighters in case operations go wrong. These shelters give firefighters a few minutes in extreme fire conditions.
